My passion is medicine. Almost all the women in my family work in the medical field, ranging from hospitals to nursing homes. I've dreamt of being a nurse since the 6th grade because I have a passion for helping people. I've been able to look up to many women in my life, all of whom are nurses, and I aspire to be like them.
Attending NSLC Medicine and Healthcare will help me pursue my passion for medicine. After graduating from high school, I plan on becoming a labor and delivery nurse. After reading about NSLC Medicine and Healthcare, I've learned that the program offers hands-on learning. I think that NSLC Medicine and Healthcare will help me achieve all that I want to do, and give me a little bit of insight to what exactly in getting into. I would love to attend this program and be all that I want to be.
Angelina is adored by everyone who meets her, and has the perfect temperament for nursing. While she is kind and lovely, she is also hard working and driven, finishing all of my assignments early, and going above and beyond the requirements every time. She asks good questions, contributes excellent responses to discussions, and her writing is far above the level of a typical tenth grader. She reads voraciously, and I think NSLC Medicine and Healthcare will allow her to be challenged at a level she is ready for. I have not often seen such a combination in a student. She will additionally benefit because she's never had an opportunity like this before. She loves the idea of medicine, and I think she will flourish in a hands-on situation. Getting a taste for her desired career will inspire her even further, and I'm really looking forward to hearing about her experience.
I had an amazing 9 days at NSLC Medicine and Healthcare. It was an amazing experience that I will cherish for a lifetime. I made new friends from all across the world. I am very happy and thankful that I got the opportunity to go.
