My passion is forensics, which arose recently in the beginning of my junior year. Coming into high school, I was focused on the scientific factors of forensics. Sooner than I thought, I began to craft an ideal career path, my eyes were drawn to forensic pathology. Forensic pathology calls for the basic sciences along with medical school and experiences in the field of medicine. I began to look deeper into college majors and concentrations. I was intrigued by molecular biology and toxicology minors. I realized that there was more to my story and that what I wanted to be was a doctor, and overall help people.
I feel that UConn Pre-College Summer Program will point me in the right direction and position for college. Even beyond that, I know that it will give me the hands on setting that I want so badly. I will try my absolute best to absorb all of the information given to me. UConn Pre-College Summer Program will help me get my feet wet and get a steady standing for what college has to offer me.
Pashioune has demonstrated a relentless drive. As a teacher, I have witnessed that drive before, but rarely with the kind of humble determination that she brings to school every day. Even on days when she feels the weight of her many responsibilities, both academic and personal, Pashioune marshals on and keeps her goals at the forefront. UConn Pre-College Summer Program will be an amazing opportunity for Pashioune to show her determination and drive while learning new topics and being exposed to a new environment.
I'm in the mist of preparing to go to the University Of Connecticut this summer. Right now, I'm finishing up my junior year strongly and preparing for the summer activities that I will be subject to this summer. Thank you all so much for supporting me, more updates to come soon.
