Attending Skidmore's pre-college program will allow me to enhance my independence and knowledge of the college world that stands before me. As I venture off into Skidmore's campus, I will have the opportunity to take college-level courses. This will place challenges within my reach that demand higher level thinking. I believe that submerging myself within a different academic setting will allow me to become a well-rounded individual as I interact with students from different cultures and ethnicities.
Kelsey's character is sterling. She has chosen to challenge herself through professional experiences these past two summers, and now needs an academic experience to round out her readiness for college. She performs consistently in the top 10% of her class. She stands out both in terms of her character and academics, and is well-respected by students and faculty.
Thank you for aiding me with the opportunity to excel with a five week pre-college program at Skidmore College. Having this experience will allow me to broaden my knowledge on the college adventure and gain specific insight on the courses I wish to pursue in life.
