My passion is basketball.
My favorite activity is playing, watching, reading, really anything to do with basketball. Basketball is by far my favorite thing in the world. A basketball court is where I feel most at home, and it is the one place on earth I can be where I know what I’m doing and what I’m talking about. My favorite time and place to play basketball is anywhere and anytime.
Attending US Sports Nike Basketball Camps will help me pursue my passion for basketball because it will help me improve my weaknesses. Some of my weaknesses are, fast-break scoring, handling, and decision-making while under pressure. One difficulty I have in the game of basketball is being able to handle the ball precisely. In addition, I struggle with fast-break scoring because I lose the feel of the ball while running at full speed and converting into a layup or jump shot. One of my greatest confrontations is, decision making while under pressure because I don't know what to do when the defenders pressure me into a state of panic and vulnerability. The summer academy will help me improve with their techniques and experiences. I strive to become a better basketball player, and I believe that attending US Sports Nike Basketball Camp will help me reach that level of success.
Although Danniel is an amazing athlete, he is an even more dedicated as a scholar. Danniel is the quintessential scholar-athlete and was recently awarded for embodying our schools DREAMBIG (Discipline, Respect, Enthusiasm, Accountability, Maturity, Bravery, Initiative, and Grit) values. Danniel was specifically recognized for his enthusiasm in learning, and his determination to master everything he learns. Danniel is more than eligible for the Wishbone program and I'm confident in his ability to excel at US Sports Nike Basketball Camp.
Danniel has always been an all around sportsman. Although he made the Varsity basketball team for the first time this year, Danniel has played for several years on a local team, the Outcast Warriors, as a shooting and point guard. Danniel takes the sport very seriously, and very clearly cares about his athletic performance. Danniel is extremely passionate about basketball and demonstrates that both in and out of school.
I want to thank you immensely. This is going to be one of the many steps that I take to go to the NBA. If everything goes as planned, I will come back a better player than ever before, and will represent each and every one of the people who donated to me. Once again, thank you, and I appreciate this chance you've given me with this camp.
