Matthew's Story

My passion is business.

I am still in a discovery stage of my life, but I know I want to make it to the top and be a CEO. I want to be a role model. I am confident that my resilience will allow me to prevail no matter what.

Participating in UConn Pre-College Summer: Data Analysis will provide me an opportunity to find my niche, learn, and explore to not only find myself but prepare for my future. The exposure to UConn's resources and being on their campus is a once in a lifetime opportunity, especially for someone from the South Bronx. The tools and skills that I dream about would now be at my disposal. I would be able to learn with peers that have the same end goal in mind and be able to visualize myself as a college student.

Quick Update!

First I want to thank everyone that took a minute out of their day to come and support me in more than just a few ways. From the bottom of my heart, "Thank you." I'm super excited for my summer camp at U Connecticut and I'm sure the experience will be life changing and will truly give me the opportunity to expand my knowledge. I Cant wait to attend and be near other students with the same end goal in mind! Thank you, this wouldn't be possible without all of your guy's support!
