My passion is coding.
I discovered my passion for coding when I was in elementary school. Every time I learn something new about coding, I catch on quickly and this gives me the ability to become more skilled. Girls Who Code Summer Immersion will provide me with the opportunity to continue to learn about my passion.
Atyyah has consistently been a young professional, striving towards excellence and she would would bring a new perspective to the Girls Who Code Summer Immersion. Atyyah has developed professionalism, reflection, and integrity that could be an invaluable addition to the program. Atyyah would benefit from being among other young women committed and driven to satisfy their passions. True grit and prioritizing education helps Atyyah get closer to excellence every day.
This summer has been one of the best, unforgettable experiences for me yet. The girls were kind and not judgmental which allowed me to open up more. I was able to participate in many activities without feeling so nervous. I have more confidence in myself and try not to let that affect me so much anymore. I wouldn't do it again if I could, but I will be attending college nest year. Coding was already show to me from my school but now I have a better understanding.
I am going to be a part of a program called Girls Who Code this summer. I am eager to attend the program because it will give me the opportunity to unite with other girls who have a similar interest as me. I feel as though this is a better way for me to learn how to improve on my communication skills because my school doesn't really help with this problem of mines. I think this program will help me to develop my skills better for my future career.
I am looking forward to working with other girls around my age and receiving advice on ways to improve myself with coding. I chose this program because it plays a huge part in my ideal career for when I grow up and it gives me a strong start. I've been quite interested in this career decision of mines since eighth grade. I believe participating in this program will help me decide on the category of law enforcement I would love to be a part of such as a FBI in the field or the FBI who looks for information online to help the FBI agents that's in the field.
