My passion is sports.
I believe that my love for sports developed at an early age. When I turned 10 years old, I developed a passion for basketball. My middle school was starting a team and the more we played, the stronger that passion grew. Today I'm at a point in my life where I can't go a day without picking up a ball, reading a news article, or watching a game. It has become an outlet where all stress is released even if it's just for a brief moment in time.
I want to go to the Nike Basketball Camp because basketball is my safe haven. Whenever i'm sad or feeling stressed out, I can just play basketball and feel like it's a release for any pain or stress that I feel. This Nike camp can help me improve my game and take it to the next level. I would love to help my high school basketball team win more and have more fun playing a game we all love and this camp can help me become a better leader. My goal is not only winning a high school championship, but also playing Division 1 College Basketball, and if i'm lucky, playing basketball in the NBA.
Justyn doesn't have the same resources that peers of his would have at other schools with wealthier backgrounds. However, Justyn has not let this dampen his passion for constantly improving and setting ambitious goals. He would benefit greatly from this program. He loves diving into real-world scenarios and excels at them. He will also gain extra confidence. Justyn has a STRONG passion for sports and I think he is very realistic in understanding that he may not make it as a professional athlete but he has the foresight to attend a program that will put him in the field.
Thank you so much to everyone who showed support to me in any way, shape, or form. A special thanks to those who donated and helped me live out a fantasy for 5 days. My experience at Caldwell College was unforgettable. I met so many different people from so many different cultures. I had a roommate from France which was one of the coolest things about my week. Most importantly, I was able to deepen my love for basketball. I learned more at that camp in 5 days then I had learned in the past several years and that wouldn't have been possible without the support. Easily the highlight of my summer, Thank you all I genuinely appreciate it.
