Roscoe lives between two gangs at war, frequently waking up to the sounds of gunshots in the night. Roscoe takes on a lot of responsibility at home, waking up early in the morning to feed his brothers and iron their clothes. After school, Roscoe quickly returns home to take care of his baby brother.
Although other high school students could get frustrated with this amount of familial responsibility, Roscoe directs all of his energy into football. As a member of the Locke High School football team, Roscoe has found that a commitment to the sport gave him the drive, focus, and dedication he needs in both school and life.
Roscoe wants to pursue his football passion at the Trojan Football Camp at USC. Run by the USC head coach and coaching team, the program offers high-quality training in the USC facilities. Athletes will leave the program with more refined skills and a deeper knowledge of the game. This program would be a great opportunity to allow Roscoe to pursue his passion and meaningfully contribute to his football team.
