My passion is business and marketing.
I discovered my passions after seeing my dad manage a company in Brazil. I enjoyed watching him sit in his office and resolve problems that walked through the door. He always talked to me about what it was like, and it amazed me to see how much you can enjoy your job if it your true passion. He always pointed out that I was a great math student and would tell me that math was very important in the business field. All and all, I have always felt drawn to things that involved marketing and managing and the "Syracuse Management and Technology in the Business" will be perfect for me to start exploring.
"Anna would make an excellent candidate for Syracuse's Management and Technology in the Business World program because I know she has a close connection with this field. She told me that when she was younger and used to live in Brazil, she would get to watch her Dad manage his business and knew that one day she would do that too. I also know that it was hard for her to move away from Brazil but knew it was in her best interest to receive an education here that she wouldn't be able to get if she stayed there.
The skills she will acquire while in this program will tremendously benefit her and give her an idea of the role she will have in the business field later in life if she chooses to pursue a career in management."
I am going to be participating in Syracuse's Management and Technology in the Business World program. I am very grateful and excited to start this endeavor. It will give me the opportunity to gain experience in an interest of mine.
I am looking forward to collaborating with peers and reaching out of my comfort zone. I have chosen this program because I hope to learn about a career in the business field. I believe that participating in this program will give me the experience I am looking!
