My passion is Culinary Art.
A while back, my aunt use to bake cakes and decorate them and I thought it was the most beautiful thing ever. At around the age of 5, I baked my first cake with my aunt. From then on, I started helping my family members in the kitchen because I loved doing it and I wanted to learn more things in order to improve my culinary skills. Culinary Art is just so amazing because most people don't see cooking or baking as an art. However, cooking and baking both require the same attention and preciseness as painting a picture. I knew I wanted to be involved in an art that is so unique to the other versions of art. I knew it was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life whether it was my professional career or just a side job.
Emely is an excellent candidate because she is intelligent, mature, poised, and driven. I've known her for more than three years, and was her college-readiness teacher last year, where I witnessed first-hand Emely's ability to work well independently as well as with her peers, so I know she will thrive at the ICC Pastry Camp. Being able to partake in this program will benefit Emely by allowing her to discover more about a hobby she is passionate about in her spare time, as well as share her own experiences and background as a baker and chef with other students her age.
Pastry Camp was so much fun. Thank you so much wishbone and my donors for helping me get to go to this program. It was a wonderful experience. I got to learn a variety of techniques and recipes. It was exciting to see the end results of our creations. It was so beautiful to see my apple tart come out so beautiful. Also, to be able to taste something so good that was made by me was the best experience ever! Thank you so much!!
I will be going to ICC Pastry Camp starting August 7th until August 11th. I chose to attend ICC Pastry Camp because I have always loved making pastries and I want to enhance my skills. I love learning new things and it would be amazing to have these skills there for my own use. I am looking forward to everything. I am ready to push through the difficulties and learn new things that I can use to make pastries for my family and friends.
