My passion is nursing.
When I was younger, my mom took care of seniors. I was always her little helper. Helping her gave me the curiosity to become a nurse and wanting to help others. I would sit and read to her patients that were appreciated and kind. I'm passionate about nursing because helping people makes me feel like I have accomplished a mission.
Jazmin is an excellent candidate for this program because she is academically hard-working, easy to talk to, and has among the best mannerisms and overall people skills. She is a well-balanced student in so many ways. She was a member of the state qualifying volleyball team, and has earned the her highest GPA as a student. I guarantee that all who meet her will enjoy her down to earth nature and high motivation to chase her dreams.
Wishbone was a good experience to me because I got to meet new people from around the world. I love that because I got to know new culture and different people. Also, it opened my eyes to see what I really wanted to do when I go to college. Then on top of that I got to experience the college life by having dorms and living with roommates.
I am going to be participating in the Pre-Med program at Centenary Summer Scholar this summer. I am so excited that I am able to go this program in the summer, so that it can advance me in the long run. This program will help me learn different things and meet different people around the world. This program is an amazing opportunity for me to learn about my future job.
I am looking forward to working with people that are my age and sharing ideas and advice. I chose this program because it has a great program for nursing.
