I discovered my passion for photography when I was in middle school, but my passion for photography grew stronger during high school. I see photography as more of an art than just a regular picture being taken. I see it as a way to capture the moments and memories in your life so you can go back and look at those pictures to admire precious times. I want to help people remember moments they could never forget. I have pride in photography because I love to take pictures, and I keep things that are important in my life close to me.
Attending FIT High School Summer Workshops will teach me the technique and skill on how to take a picture. Attending this program will teach me the materials and tools I need to know about a camera, how to use it, the different effects, and the parts of the camera. I may love photography, but I haven't really experienced how to really use a camera and understand the different components of it and how to take pictures that capture the tone I am searching for.
Jada is an excellent candidate for FIT High School Summer Workshops because of her tenacity. She is a well-rounded student who is loved by her classmates and everyone around her. She takes on life with a smile and always puts forth her best effort. She works hard and is determined to succeed. Jada takes on challenges with a smile and overcomes all obstacles with persistence and dedication. I believe Jada will be a great asset to this program.
Jada uses her phone to capture moments for others and loves to capture art images. When she looks at scenery, she sees an image she can capture. Even with her limited resources Jada continues to follow her passion and to seek ways to improve everyday.

Hi Jada! Its Mrs Flowers from BVMS middle school where I teach dance. I hope you get all the funds necessary to attend this program! I was able to participate in the FIT summer program my junior year at Fashion Industries High School. It is life changing! Congrats and I know you will represent our community!
