Jaheim's Story

My passion is basketball.

I first figured that basketball was going to be my dream when my mom first took me to go see a game. This experience totally convinced me that if i tried hard enough, I will be able to become a real NBA player. After that, I went to a park and started on my shooting and handles. My dad saw my talents and taught me how to hold good defense and I practiced until I felt it got better. Although I'm only 4'10" I'm not worrying about my height because I still know how to play ball. I'm also eating more vegetables because I don't like eating certain veggies at all.

Attending PGC Essentials Camp will help me develop the skills I need to achieve a long time goal of becoming like the players who I had saw when I was little. This will also help me explore my passion of basketball because I will be able to do what I have never learned how to do. Lastly, it will teach me the skills that I may one day need to teach my kids if any of them turn out like me and are interested in ball.
