My passion is cheerleading.
This became my passion when I first tried out for the JV cheer team at my school. When I first tried out, I was really nervous because I was trying out by myself. It has always been a dream of mine to become a cheerleader although I know I am very shy at times. I think cheering has really become a passion of mine because it has really helped me break out of my shell and become way more confident with myself. Cheering is something I love to do, it helps me express myself without out thinking about being judged.
I believe that by attending the UCA Cheer Summer Camp my passion will develop a lot more because it will open my eyes to more things. I am exited to learn and try new things to help me become a better cheerleader. I think by going I will be introduced to more cheering assets that, in time, will not only help with my cheering but with my confidence and self esteem.
"Janis would be a good candidate for Wishbone and UCA cheer camp because I feel she would progress as a leader and a flyer in stunting. Through cheer camp, the instructors can help her one on one and improve minor details that would make her an excellent flyer. As a leader, Janis will be able to help her teammates improve their dance skills that she excels in and to help motivate them when they do not feel as confident in themselves."
