My passion is cheerleading.
When I first watched Bring It On, cheerleading was suddenly one of dreams. I didn't really know cheer because I wasn't engaged with it, but it came true my freshman year of high school. I was invited to the school freshman orientation and when I walked through the gate I was greeted by the cheerleaders asking me if I wanted to cheer. My family wasn't really big with "male cheerleaders," so I said no and walked away. During the orientation, I saw two guy cheerleaders, so I went to try outs and ever since then I've been cheering.
Attending UCA Cheer Summer Camp will help me explore my passion because there is some skills I do not currently have and UCA will be the key to success at those skills.
"Latife is one of my most passionate cheerleaders. He recently became the Co-Captain of the squad. He helps every stunt group that is struggling, helping them hit the stunt. Latife comes from a dangerous neighborhood in San Francisco. Cheer has kept him out of trouble and made him set for his future."
