I discovered my passion for nursing when I was ten years old. I want to be able to be a part of giving the patients hope and show them that just because there isn't a cure for some illnesses now doesn't mean that there won't be a cure later on.
Attending Envision NYLF Medicine will help me explore my passion for nursing because I will be able to learn more about the anatomy of humans and illnesses that affect them. Even though I haven't had a medical experience I still feel passionate about wanting to help people who are in need of medical attention. This would be a great opportunity for me to learn more about the nursing field through hands-on experience. I look forward to learning how to care for patients and also thinking about how to find cures for illnesses that other people think there is not a cure for. This will also help me decide if nursing is a career I would like to pursue.
Angela is a remarkably bright and focused student who has never let the significant difficulties of her circumstances dim her hopes for her future. Her primary focus is her education and her future career goals, and this program would absolutely help her by providing her with more information about and experience in the medical field. Because she attends a school that, due to its size, cannot offer as many advanced science courses as others, this program would help lessen that inequity and make her more competitive with other more privileged peers.
