My passion is coding.
When I was 6 years old, I didn't know what I wanted to do when I grew up. My parents wanted me to be a doctor so I agreed with them, but a few months later, my older brother got a Xbox and a Gameboy. He let me play with him and I fell in love with video games some of my greatest moments came from them. But as I played these games I had a dream of creating my own video game and I will always imagine what will it look like. When I was in 6th grade there was a program that could teach me how to code and as coded I had so much fun so many possibilities came to my mind. In the end my game was okay but I was still proud because my childhood dream came true and I knew what I wanted to do.
Ivan has expressed multiple times in class that he is keenly interested in programming and engineering. Programming is a field that Ivan dedicates a lot of time and energy to. Because this is a field that he cares so deeply about, he will find a way to make any and every resource he finds work to his understanding and knowledge of it. Science Learning Institute STEM Summer Camps will provide yet another venue for Ivan to learn about his passion and develop his skills.
So I have been pretty much excited for the program because I'm going to be able to learn more about Video Game Design! I have been preparing for the the Virtual Design which I don't have a lot of experience with I know this program will help.
