My passion is helping others. Attending Hartford Public High School Nursing and Health Science Academy made me realize that I want to do something in the medical field in my future career. I have always loved helping and taking care of others. This was inspired by seeing how doctors and nurses were always willing and able to help those in need. I want to become a labor and delivery nurse.
Attending YMCA Camp Jewell Leaders-in-Training will allow me to develop the leadership skills needed in order for me to help those in my community. I aspire to be a nurse, and I feel that the skills I gain from attending YMCA Camp Jewell Leaders-in-Training will not only help me gain more experience in leadership development, but also teach me about responsibility and accountability.
Lionela is an extremely hard working student who is very conscientious about her grades and work. She would also benefit from the extra challenge and discipline from being a part of YMCA Camp Jewell Leaders-in-Training. In the long run, this program will be great in her resume and the colleges she applies to will see how passionate and anxious she is to start her career in the medical field.
