My passion is Medicine.
I have yet to experience any career defining moments and as of now am still somewhat undecided as to what I want to do in life. However, being a nurse is something that I see myself pursuing. There are some people who just do it for monetary gain; for me being a nurse means that I can help make a change in someone’s life. People are sometimes unable to properly care for themselves and by being a nurse there are many ways that I can help change that. Being a nurse allows me to promote health, counseling, and education for others. Additionally, there are many things that I can learn and take away from this environment. Ultimately, being a nurse can be something that is life changing.
Attending Baruch Leadership Academy: Pre-Med will help me explore my passion for multiple reasons. This program will expose me to the various medical practices within the different disciples of medicine. This information will not only be beneficial to me in the future but now during the college admissions process. Medicine has since been a passion of mine and I feel this program will not only assist me in furthering this passion but will foster the proper environment and allocate me the resources needed to pursue this career. Overall, I feel that this program would be a great start to my medical career.
To advise you that Janiry Ramirez would be the perfect candidate for Wishbone would be a grand understatement. Truly it has been a blessing to watch this young lady grow into the elite scholar that she has become ready to take on the world and chase her passion of medicine. I am confident that Janiry would be a more than suitable scholar to be accepted by Wishbone. This organization was created for young powerful and trailblazing women like herself. This young achiever is an amicable and dedicated person, and puts a hundred percent into any endeavor that she pursues. Despite her academic skills and dedication she needs to be surrounded by like-minded students beyond her school that share her intense passion for medicine, where she could thrive and create lasting networks with peers, mentors, and professors. Her acceptance would greatly benefit this young woman for all the reasons stated above.
I would like to thank my donors for giving me this life-changing opportunity this summer. My program at Baruch Leadership Academy really helped further my passion for pursuing a career in the medical field. Without this program I would still be undecided as to whether I want to pursue a career in the medical field or not. All of the lectures, laboratory experiments, and field trips also helped to further my interests. Overall, I would like to say thank you again for allowing me this opportunity and for this amazing summer!
I will be participating in the Pre-Med program at Baruch Leadership Academy. I am more than excited because attending this program will give me a head start in starting a career in the medical field. Moreover, this program will provide me with skills that will be vital when I enter the medical field. This program will help me develop and expand my passion for medicine.
I am looking forward what the program has to offer. I'm also looking forward to working with other students my age who share my passion. I chose this program because I believe that it will be very helpful when I decide to explore a career in the medical field. Ultimately, I believe that participating in this program will help me decide if Pre-Med and a career in medicine is what I would like to pursue in the future.
