My passion is soccer.
I first discovered soccer as a child. I would watch my father and his friends play on the long green soccer fields for hours. When I was old enough, I joined a team at my elementary school. I felt like every problem in my life would fade away as I played the game with friends. I learned how to dribble the ball and do other moves without using my hands. The game of soccer brought out a different side of me that was outgoing and expressive. As I got older I really liked making my skills stronger by playing games with talented players. My passion for soccer grows as I play the game more and learn more techniques.
Attending the US Sports Nike Soccer Camps will help me pursue my dream of becoming a professional soccer player. The reason this camp will help me get closer to achieving my dream is that it will help me improve on my areas of growth in this game and help me mature as a player by meeting new people and getting to know them. I will work hard everyday in the camp to improve on anything I can, whether it be on the field and off the field. This new experience will make me mature and will only grow my passion for this beautiful sport that I am blessed to have found and hopefully be able to pursue a career in it.
Eduardo is an upbeat, respectful, and responsible young person. He is a thoughtful individual who is interested in pushing himself to be the best at whatever he does no matter if it is a math class or play soccer. Eduardo will benefit tremendously from participating in the US Nike Soccer Camp because he is a committed athlete who has been limited by financial resources. Once Eduardo has the opportunity to practice with professional coaches and other dedicated players his abilities on the soccer field will grow tremendously. I know Eduardo is the type of student to spend his free time practicing his technique and he response very well to coaching.
This is a great opportunity for me to improve all of my skills and get a better mentality towards being taught. Getting a stronger mentality will be important for any career path that I will take. This will help me improve and increase my chances of achieving my dream: to pursue soccer in college. I will also be putting myself around other people who also have the same dreams as me. This will only motivate me even more. I look forward to developing my soccer skills on and off the pitch that I haven't yet learned. Along side that, it will help me get out of my comfort zone and make me speak more to other people and I will be able to meet new people. I know that this program will benefit me in the future by trying to pursue my dreams
