I discovered my passion for medicine when I was very young. I was about 4 years old when I started talking about being a doctor nonstop. As I grew older, I became more interested in becoming a surgeon and I started to watch surgeries online for fun instead of watching tv shows. When I was in middle school I started to look at medical programs to get into but unfortunately, I was not old enough and it was too expensive to get into. But in my high school they have a medical career class for 10-12th graders and so I am taking that class right now and I absolutely love it.
Attending Envision NYLF Medicine will definitely help me pursue my passion for Medicine because I will be given the opportunity to have experience with medical related things and it will help me find out what kind of surgeon I want to be. In addition, this can help me so much when I go to college because I will already have background knowledge in the medical field. This can also help me get a job that isin the medical field, and I feel like I can better myself so much more through this program.
Jailine is incredibly hardworking and always strives to better herself. If she has such an opportunity to take part in Envision NYLF Medicine, she will capitalize and gain as much from it as she can. She will grow both as a student and as an individual and it will only help to make her a better student and doctor in the future. Given that Jailine is so involved in clubs and sports during the school year, this opportunity is perfect for her given that it is completed in the summer. Jailine will excel and be granted an additional opportunity, rather than having to drop one activity to do another. I also believe this program will help Jailine gain college experience. While she is very mature for her age, taking part in this program will show her the more independent college life and allow her to gain more excitement into her future endeavors.
