rodrigo's Story

My passion is soccer.

I discovered my passion for soccer when I was in middle school. I used to play everyday after school with my friends, and also played pick up games and tournaments. Usually my friends and I would end up in an argument but we knew that we just wanted to prove to one another who was the best on the pitch. This passion and love for the game inspired me to get involved into a house soccer league. I played in the league throughout my years in middle school. Then when I got into high school I got involved in playing travel soccer for the city of Stamford. Playing with my friends made me realize that I wanted to spend all my time playing soccer regardless of weather.

A Note from Mrs. Kaiser, rodrigo's Teacher

Rodrigo is a mature, responsible and thoughtful student. He would benefit from the experience of playing soccer with students from around the area and other players that have the same passion for playing soccer. When Rodrigo was playing for the Stamford High School soccer team this year, he was injured. He had a mild concussion. This did not deter him from returning to the soccer field, participating in all the practices and frankly, enjoying soccer.

Attendance at nike soccer camp

Thank you for the support for allowing me to attend nike soccer camp this summer. My goal is to become a better soccer play on and off the field, skills that can help me become a better athlete and person. All of the support given to me will get me closer to the goal that I want to achieve. Thank You!

Thank you for the amazing experience

Nike soccer camp was an exciting experience. I met many new people, played a lot of intense games and practice many new skills that I have not practice before. The coaches were very nice and supportive. Everything at the camp was a very positive environment to be in, and I hope to be able to do this again next summer!
