My passion is fashion.
I discovered this passion when I would always try to relate my love of fashion to any book I was reading. I also always loved looking at people's different taste in fashion. Living in New York City with all the different styles really attracted me to exploring my fashion and my ideas. Having different ideas from other people would allow me to set myself apart from everyone.
Attending this program will allow me to explore more ideas for fashion and give me a good background in this. Fashion is something that I can escape to and put all of my energy towards. This program will give me confidence in accomplishing my goals.
Taniyah is a risk-taker. She wants the ability to learn more about the fashion industry in a structured setting. By participating in this summer program, she will be given tools to make informed career choices, while gaining valuable skills that can be used in professional settings.
By using social media sites, the internet, and print materials like magazines, Taniyah is able to keep abreast with current fashion trends in order stay fashionable, keeping up with companies and products, and knowing what trends appeal to people.
I would like to thank everyone for helping me get into the program which allowed me to get extra help to make my dreams come into reality. I am truly happy and grateful. My experience with Wishbone was very fun and life changing because I had the great opportunity to meet such amazing people that i hope to see again.
At the end, me and my peers shared our amazing hard work and dedication, which felt really good because everything in life is a process and has a process behind it. I got to experience this by struggling and trying over and over to make my final product, which was my very first dress. I would recommend this program to anyone and everyone because it is a great program for new thinkers that have something different to bring to the table.
