I had a great time at Syracuse Summer College. I enjoyed the film course that I took because it gave me the opportunity to meet new people and learn to work in a college level environment. The most challenging thing about going to summer college at Syracuse was adjusting to the food and the heat! My experience at Syracuse was excellent, and I especially loved my RA in the dorms - she was amazing! Thank you so much for this opportunity.

Since I was a 5th grader in middle school, I was taught that it is very important for me to go to college, succeed during college, and graduate. Being at Syracuse will give me an experience that I would not be able to get at any other college. I am very excited to meet other young women who will attend the summer program because that will be my first time living in a dorm and having a roommate. This will give me a taste of what it will be like to live in a dorm for four years. I am nervous about the amount of time I will be away from home because I know that I will miss my family a lot. A challenge that I might encounter during this program is being home sick. I plan to over come it by keeping in mind that I am being able to live my dream and get a chance of a life time. Trying new things and getting away from home will help me become a mature young adult.
