My passion is helping others.
I discovered my passion from a program I was previously involved in: Read Alliance. Being able to help a precious kid learn something new always gave me a tingly feeling inside. The smiles that appeared on their faces because they could recognize words made my day.
Centenary Summer Scholars: Intro to Psychology will help me explore my passion because psychology is one of the many thing I can do to help others. In order to get healed or cured you need to be helped from another person. I want that person to be me the future. Taking psychology will give me a head start on my future and give a basic understanding of what psychology is composed of.

I can not say anything more but thank you. I'm so grateful that I was able to attend and be apart of a buzzing atmosphere that was filled with nothing but genuine love. Meeting new people was the best part of my program. It was so interesting to learn about the different histories and backgrounds of others. Again, thank you for this opportunity.
I am going to be participating Centenary Summer Scholars this summer. I am really excited to be joining this program because it will give me the experience of living in a college dorm and take a class I'm passionate about. I think that this program will help me to decide if I want to major in Psychology in the future. I am anxious to meet and work with other people my age. Thank you once again!
