My passion is soccer.
I discovered that I liked soccer when I was about 9 or 10 years old. I used to play with my dad, ever since then, I started to like it, and I always wanted to play even though I was never in a school team or an outside of school soccer team. I still love soccer, except now, I really wish to be part of a competitive organized team.
By attending US Sports Nike Soccer Camp, I will be able to make new friends, which will help me to feel more comfortable in order to have more confidence in a team. This will help me concentrate with my soccer skills because I will be able to learn from my new friends who will most likely know different skills than I do. Since I have never played with a team before, attending this camp will expose me to being a part of a team, which will provide me the knowledge I'd need when joining the school team.
Geovany has loved soccer since he was younger. Since Geovany is new to this community, he is still learning a lot and is unaware of the resources that exist within in our community to connect him to the sport that he loves. Geovany plans on trying out for the school's soccer team but is currently pursuing his passion on his own time and by applying to this program.
Geovany is an excellent candidate for participating in the US Sports Nike Soccer Camps. He works well with his peers and is a very responsible and committed young man. He is constantly looking to improve himself and not only takes feedback well but constantly seeks it on his own. Geovany will improve his people and social skills through the participation of this camp.
Thanks to the people who donated me, to go to the soccer camp, it was a great experience, I learned many new skills and I also had a lot of fun, I met new people, I had the opportunity to practice with them and play soccer together. Again, thank you very much for your help guys. I really appreciate it :)
I am excited to be able to attend this program because I am going to learn new soccer skills. I look forward to meeting new friends that I will be able to be in contact with after the program.
