Jeffrey's Story

My passion is engineering.

The unlimited possibilities of skateboarding, taking photos/video and exploring places sprouted my interest for engineering. After the long school days and homework, on the weekend I would take the subway to get to another city and to see what there is to skate and to observe the things around me. Eventually, I would take videos or photos of me skating or things I find interesting with my phone, which really made me appreciate the different buildings and the engineering that was used to create them. I like engineering since it has a unlimited possibilities of what can be created, but I also want to give people a place to skate, take photos of and appreciate creative infrastructure.

A Note from Ms. Helmboldt, Jeffrey's Teacher

Jeffrey is an overall go-getter. He is passionate about so many things, and does them all flawlessly between academics and hobbies. Jeffrey, as previously stated, will get that different hands on experience that school does not offer. Project based learning, I have witnessed, is definitely a strength for him, which will be especially so if he is passionate about the topic. I am super excited about the possibility for him to take on this opportunity and challenge himself this summer.

Id Tech Camps

I am going to be participating in the Web design and Photography workshop at Id Tech Camp. I am really excited to be meeting new people and explore the place on and around me at the camp. Also, learn more about web design and photography that will help me advance my skills. I think this program will keep me busy and open more doors.
