My passion is reading and learning.
Though I love learning academically, I always take the opportunity to learn a new skill. In the seventh grade, I began learning to play lacrosse at my middle school. I quickly fell in love with the sport and took every chance I could to develop my skills. I traveled with my middle school team to clinics at a few boarding schools and made sure to practice whenever I could. In the eighth grade, I showed lots of improvement, and now that I am in high school, I would like to continue to play on a more competitive level. In middle school, we did not get the chance to play many games, so I feel there is still a lot for me to learn about lacrosse. I hope that attending the Nike lacrosse clinic will help me develop my skills and have fun playing the sport I love.

Samantha is a great candidate for Nike Lacrosse Camp because she is a highly motivated and focused individual. She is a strong athlete who began to develop her love for lacrosse as a student at EHS. As she learned more about the sport and got more opportunities to practice, her skill level increased rapidly. Samantha is now a student at a boarding school and is excited about playing lacrosse at the high school level. I think that she would benefit tremendously from attending the Nike Lacrosse Camp."
