My passion is photography.
By attending ICP Teen Academy Darkroom Photography, it'll allow me to pursue my passion for photography. This program will prepare me for what it takes to become successful in this profession and it will provide me with the confidence I need to become a good photographer.
Mustafa has already taken up leadership roles - both official, like that in GSA and less official, such as leading discussions in class - that I know will contribute to his success not only at ICP Teen Academy Darkroom Photography, but also as he moves on to college. He has also expressed an interest in staying in New York to study so that he may use his talents and education to better his own community and the lives of those in it.
The arts and humanities define who we are as a people. That is their power -- to remind us of what we each have to offer, and what we all have in common. To help us understand our history and imagine our future. To give us hope in the moments of struggle and to bring us together when nothing else will.
