Thank you so much for helping me move one step closer to achieving my dreams. Being at Saint Joseph's College has taught me so much that I can carry back to my life as well as school. I learned a lot about myself especially through the different writing activities we did. I will never forget this experience. Thank you so much!

This summer I'll be attending St. Joseph's college creative writing program -- I'll be doing all three sessions on writing. I am really excited for this summer. Writing has been my refuge for a while now. It has helped me get through so much while staying sane. I began writing poetry in the 8th grade, however it didn't become important to me until my 9th grade year. 9th grade was an extremely hard year for me. I was in the process of finding myself plus I was stepping in a new environment: high school. For a while, it seemed like nothing good would ever come to me. However, one of my teachers told me to try writing my problems down to see how it helps me. I soon learned how writing was something I must do, even when nothing bad is taking place. Everyone has a different way of expressing themselves; writing is mine.
