Robert's Story

My passion is being a captain.

Ever since I was a little boy I've loved to dance and sing, so this just gave me more exploration with the two of my favorite passions. When I began high school, it was just my dream to be on a varsity cheer team but we were the first ever single junior varsity cheer team in San Francisco in 2014. We won 4th place at out debut competition and ever since then we have made bigger progress but this year wasn't so good but we kept our bows high and stuck it out and never let our heads down again.

I would like the whole world to know who Burton High School cheerleaders are because we deserve to be known as well as other sports. I believe that we have some of the best coaches at my school.

A Note from Ms. Milton, Robert's Coach

"Robert is JV Captain he is responsible for the upkeep of paperwork and forms. All of these manners needed to be sorted and put in order before competition. Some members of JV were not very responsible in getting them paperwork in so Robert took the initiative of holding a meeting to sit down with those individuals and help them fill out paperwork so that it was turned in before the due date so there was no kinks that could not be sorted out. He handled this in a very responsible and timely manner."
