My passion is going to college. Entering high school, there's a lot of pressure about getting started on the college application process. We're pushed to think and prepare for our futures. I believe participating in Trail Blazers Leaders in Training Program will allow me to gain the skills and confidence necessary to be a leader in my community and at school. Having these leadership skills will be beneficial for me because it'll help me take initiative in class, as well as outside the classroom and in my own community as well.
Nahima puts forth her best efforts all of the time. She has this resilience in where she refuses to lose. In the case that she doesn't come out the strongest, she learns. From small victories like passing a Spanish quiz to larger ones like having the one of the top homework completion averages in her grade. Nahima is always willing to learn and try. She will greatly benefit from Trail Blazers Leaders in Training Program.
