My passion is fashion design.
It's a fairly new passion of mine. I did not discover the creative professional side of fashion until my sophomore year while I was attending a vocational school. It was there that I started learning how to design, sew, and create from inspiration.
Attending the Syracuse Summer College Fashion Design program would help me pursue my passion on a more serious level. I have the basic skills of sewing, making patterns, and drawing, but I would like to learn from real professors and ask questions that will help me make strong choices for my future. I will be very dedicated and it will fill my heart with joy to be doing what I love. I'm even searching for Fashion Design programs at different colleges because I really do want this. This program will help me get one step closer to my dream.
Sannette is a mature young lady with a huge passion for fashion design. It is all she talks about. I see how creative she is in all her projects. She makes some amazing visuals for her presentations. She would benefit from this program because we don't offer it for her in our school. It would be a waste of amazing talent if she could not pursue fashion design. It is rare to find a student that knows exactly what she wants to do in the future and is great at it.
I wish those two weeks didnt fly by so fast. I was crying while packing and saying good bye to all the amazing friends I got to make. I met so many great people and loved my program and my professors. Im sure Fashion is my future thanks to this experience. I loved campus, I loved the dorms, I loved the dining hall and its food, I loved the events that we all got to be part of and the field trips. I loved everything in general. Syracuse University is absolutely beautiful. If I had the chance to go back I would say yes without thinking twice about it.
I am going to be involved in the Fashion Design Workshop this summer. I feel very lucky and I'm full of excitement because my school no longer has the Fashion Design class, so for me, this is a major opportunity I'm super grateful for. I think that this program will allow me to approach my dreams, and earning this opportunity allows me to be steps closer to all my goals in the fashion industry.
I'm excited about this program, and about collaborating with people my age, working together with people in this unique experience. I chose this program because I truly believe that fashion is what makes me, me. I've had the thought of making it my life career since sophomore year. Participating in this will make me happier than ever before. I truly believe that being a part of this will help me in the future in many ways.
Sannette is a special young lady; I cannot wait to see her designs!
Amazing student. I am so proud of you.
Keep up the good work. Good Luck with your program.
I wish you the best of luck and please keep trying to get Fashion Design back into the offered classes!
Great kid, hard working
Our kids are the future! Good Luck!
