My passion is cooking.
I discovered my passion by watching my mom cook and bake all the time. My mom showed me how to cook when I was 11 years old. Since then, I have loved being in the kitchen and trying new recipes in my spare time. Many people have told me that my food is delicious. By practicing and learning more at the Sur La Table Teen Cooking Program, I will become a better chef.
Michelle is very hard working and passionate about the work that she does. I've never met a student as invested as she is in her education. Michelle is a student with a bright future and she can achieve her dreams if given the right experiences. Being the first person in her family to go to college, she will benefit so much from the Sur La Table Teen Cooking Program. She will be able to develop her cooking skills which will help her pursue her dream of owning her own restaurant one day.
Michelle, best wishes for a memorable experience learning how to become a professional chef this summer at Sur La Table.
