Dakisha's Story

My passion is marine biology. Attending SEACAMP will allow me to further explore this passion and learn more about the environment. I hope to have a hands on learning experience, especially if it has to do with marine biology. This program will benefit me in a variety of ways including learning to work with people I've never met before, strengthening and giving me a head start in my biology classes, and last but not least it will make me a much more independent person.

A Note from Ms. Lambert, Dakisha's Teacher

Dakisha is a very passionate student. In the last 2 years I have known her as a student and advisee, I have not seen her put anything but her 100% effort towards any task. She served as dance team captain, participates in community outreach, and is an all around role model to other students. Dakisha has shown her perseverance towards anything she puts her mind to, academic or otherwise. SEACAMP will be an amazing opportunity for Dakisha to learn more about marine biology and develop her passion.
