The experience I had at Ithaca College was amazing. I was able to meet all different people from different places. I was able to be more active and expressive than I am at home. I began to see how to manage time between classwork, activities planned by the college, and plans I made at the spur of the moment. I was given the responsibility of getting ready for classes and learning how to live with a roommate I knew nothing about before this trip. I meet a great group of people that I consider some of my best friends. Even though I loved my classes I've realized that I'm better doing vocal techniques than I am with computer work with music. My class has taught me that when it comes to music you have to see both sides of the table, the producer's and the musician's. This program has made me more ready to go to college and makes me want to pursue a college education even more. Thank you so much for helping me go.

I am going to be participating in the Ithaca: Digital Music Production program this summer. I am really excited to be joining the program because it will give me the time to make music and meet new people who are just as passionate as me to make music or songs that send a message to people in world saying that it is okay to be yourself or to not to let the world or society's ideology get to you. I believe everyone is perfect in your own way because God never makes mistakes. I chose this program because I love making music and singing. It is my way of expressing myself to others using music as my outlet. I believe that participating in this program will help me decide on whether or not I want to major in music at college. I can't wait to meet people who will support me in my decision and meet a group of people I can depend on to help me when I need it, and push me in the right direction.
