My passion is basketball.
I've always loved basketball, ever since I was eight. I've been on multiple basketball since sixth grade. That's when I was introduced to the fundamentals of basketball and it sparked an even greater love for the sport. Basketball will forever be in my heart. Of course, I've improved throughout the years. I started off in sixth grade on my schools team (St. Jerome's School). That same year, in sixth grade, it closed down. From then, I was transferred to St. Luke's school and continue doing on. I made the basketball team for that school as well, seventh and eighth grade. Freshman year, I made one of the basketball teams that were in my school. It wasn't the main one but at least I was on a team. And now as a sophomore I'm on two basketball teams and a baseball team. Time management is hard, yes, but I still love it.
Ryan is a good ball player. From seeing him play, I can tell how seriously he takes it. He's dedicated, a team player, and always looking to push himself beyond his current limits. Ryan would be a good candidate because he's hard working and a high achiever. This program would support his growth and provide a positive way to spend his time over the Summer, when there wouldn't be many alternatives. While school is a resource during the academic year, the summer leaves a void of uncertainty and an unreliability as to whether he'll be able to practice or play.
For me, attending this is a great opportunity because if I hustle and try my hardest, I can possibly put myself on the radar for any scouts that may come. I'm also hoping this can improve my skills as a baller. I must thank you because without your donations, this wouldn't be possible!
Ryan: set a goal you want to accomplish at camp and work to achieve it. And remember to have fun!
