My passion is to be a forensic scientist.
I became interested in becoming a forensic technician when I realized by the beginning of 7th grade that math and science are my strongest subjects. I explored various types of careers that relate to math and science, but my insatiable interest in criminology made me lean towards forensic science. I envision myself loving my job because I know I'm willing to work as hard as I have to in order to pursue my dream career.
I will develop my passion of becoming a successful forensic scientist by attending the Summer Institutes at Saint Joseph's College. I know this is the perfect program for me because I'll learn about all aspects of forensic science from a variety of professionals such as detectives, crime scene technicians, pathologists, and lawyers. This program will push me far into the right direction to pursue my career of being a forensic scientist.
"Kimora is driven by practical application of her learning, the Forensic Science program at the Summer Institutes at Saint Joseph's College could be transformational for her. When she first heard about the opportunity in her 1st period class, she literally ran to my classroom before 2nd to ask me to be her advocate. It seems that she has an intense interest in forensic science to begin with, but I also think the hands on nature of the program particularly suits Kimora's preferred learning style.
Kimora is a wonderfully accomplished and insightful student in all subjects. The multidisciplinary nature of the program would be an incredible opportunity for her to connect many aspects of her education to a real world application that she clearly cares very much about."
