My passion is helping others and medicine.
I discovered my passion for helping others through a Leadership program I participated in during my 8th and 9th grade. Throughout the length of the program, former classmates and I volunteered at local trailer parks and parks; we donated toys and food to the less fortunate. I enjoyed spending my free time caring and helping others. I have a potent influence towards others, I inspire them to help others as well. I am also passionate in obtaining a career in the medical field. I feel inspired to pursue a medical degree because my mother has faced various health issues throughout her life span. I feel compelled to study medicine to comprehend my mother’s illnesses and potentially find a cure.
Attending the National Youth leadership forum of Medicine will help me explore my passion because it will provide me with the experience and the skills needed to potentially excel in pursuing a career in the medical field. I am compelled to study medicine to comprehend my mother’s illnesses and potentially find a cure for her illnesses. The leadership forum will not only help me advance academically but it will ensure that I mature and I elevate my intellectual status. I believe that attending the National Youth leadership forum of Medicine will be an impeccable experience.
Diana makes the most of what she has. She comes from a low-income neighborhood that is rife with violence. Students born in her type of situation aren't left with a lot of options. But in spite of this, she has been resourceful and seeks to help those around her in any way she can.
Her financial limitations and resources don't stop her from dreaming big. I believe this is what makes Diana such a great candidate for the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine. She is inspired and self-driven and has high aspirations and has already passed through so many obstacles to get where she is now.
I will be attending the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine this summer at UCLA. I am extremely excited to be taking part in this program because it will help me learn the basics of medicine and potentially help me pursue a career in the medical field. At my high school, there aren't any opportunities or programs that help me pursue my passion. This program will help me achieve my dream of becoming a nurse.
