My passion is cheerleading.
Ever since I was a little girl, I've always liked to dance. When I came to US from my original country, El Salvador, I focused more on school than anything, but I also realized that cheering is even better and more fun than dancing because we get to see the crowd cheer with us and bond with my teammates.
By going to UCA cheer summer camp, I would learn much more from other people, other schools' teams, and the staff at UCA.
"Daniela has grown so much in the time that I have known her. Having an opportunity to go to cheer camp will help her grow more. It will rededicate her to the squad as cheerleaders undergo intense bonding at camp. It will help her improve her skills and gain confidence. This year she has struggles as one of the new members with learning the material quickly. I know it sometimes stresses her out. Camp will push her to rely on the resources around her, mostly her squad mates, to improve. She is so good a using her resources academically, I want to she her do this in other areas of her life."
