My passion is biomedical engineering.
Medical has been my passion since my mom received a degree in assistive medicine. Additionally, my father was an electrical engineer, which put me on a path towards the engineering field. Having an interest in both fields has made me passionate about becoming a biomedical engineer.
By attending Medicine Youth Summer Program, I will develop experience in the field that I have passion for. Participating in this program will put me a step closer to achieving my dreams.
"Matthew is the ideal student to attend the Medicine Youth Summer Program because he is interested in pursuing a career in medicine. His passion comes from his family and he is willing to work hard to achieve his dream. Additionally, Matthew is easy going, conscientious, and open to new experiences; I am confident that he would enjoy his time away from Brooklyn this summer. He would be pushed out of his comfort zone both socially and academically, and hopefully this rewarding experience will make him even more excited for college."
Have a great time
