My passion is fashion.
Growing up as an introvert, I developed a value for self-sufficiency and unapologetic expression. I hope to challenge gender stigmas and further foster this value by understanding the making of clothing and the fashion industry.
By attending Academy of Art Summer Pre-College Art Experience, I believe I will further understand how fashion pieces can be more than visually appealing, but rather create a visual story. Music and Fashion can create powerful zeitgeists within audiences, especially if it can challenge gender norms. Furthermore, it can elevate my enthusiasm into pursuing a career in fashion by connecting me with other participants and exchanging ideas and thoughts.
Ricardo would be a great candidate for Academy of Art Pre-College Art Experience because he would thrive in this kind of creative environment. He is kind, generous, very creative and has the fundamental skills necessary to learn what this program has to offer quickly. Ricardo would be an excellent addition to Academy of Art Pre-College Art Experience, it would be beneficial for both parties!
