Nicole's Story

My passion is dance.

I discovered my passion for dance when I started practicing for my quincenera. At first, I thought that I wasn't going to be able to do the dances that I had to do for my party because I was afraid. Once I gained my confidence in being able to dance in front of my parents, my choreographer told me I was a great dancer. He asked me if I wanted to join his crew for dance. The week before my 15th birthday, he took me to an expo for quinceneras in Manhattan. That day, I was very nervous because I knew there was going to be many people watching me and I also knew that this expo was a practice for my party so I wanted to do the best of me!
