I am a person that has a strong passion for medicine and for children. I have always wanted to become a Pediatrician since I was 12. I've always wanted to help kids feel healthy and have fun like normal kids. I have and will always volunteer at school and children's hospital to help children that are disabled or sick. It hurts to see kids with disabilities that are not able to do things that other kids do. I do not want to be just a pediatrician that treats kids and makes them feel healthy, but also a pediatrician that would do anything for them.
Attending Baruch Leadership Academy Pre-Med will help me pursue my passion for medicine by helping me with every step in becoming a great pediatrician. I am particularly excited about learning what am suppose to do to pursue this career. I am willing to work hard, and
I have the strength to accomplish my dream of being a pediatrician.
Baidahu is inquisitive and smart, kind and gentle- many of the requirements that make a person a successful pediatrician. I can definitely picture Baidahu one day working as a pediatrician because of her strong work ethic, gentle manner and big heart which will lead her to make the best decisions for tomorrow's children. Baidahu is always asking how she can help me with community service and doesn't hesitate to get involved in things. She quietly goes about doing what is expected of her. Baidahu is eager to experience as much as she can. I think Baidahu is a perfect candidate for Baruch Leadership Academy Pre-Med, and I know she will take full advantage of it.
I am excited about spending the summer in New York but even more excited about spending six weeks studying at Baruch College. I look forward to learning more about the medical field and specifically how to become the best pediatrician ever! Even though it’s summer, I am eager to begin classes and to learn more about children. I am a little nervous about meeting new people and going through my first college class but I know that getting out of my comfort zone is the best way to grow as a person.
