My passion is football.
I first discovered my passion for football from watching the NFL. I idolized football players, especially the players in the NFL. From there I started playing pickup football games and discovered what my strengths and weaknesses were. I was fast, strong, athletic, and I also had strong leadership abilities. I started playing varsity football my 9th grade year of high school. I sat, watched and learned. By my 10th grade year I started every game of the season and also became the captain of the team due to my ability to lead the team. Now after my current season, I stepped up by being a second year captain finishing the season with over 50 tackles, 6 touchdowns and over 300 rushing yards. I idolize players like James Winston who brings great leadership to his team at such a young age.
I had the pleasure of teaching Jordan 7th and 8th grade English. Jordan was my star student who always strived to be better. This was before his athletic career took off. Jordan was always a few pages ahead of the class and loved to participate each and every day. Jordan was extremely mature for his age and seemed to carry himself like a man when the other kids were still being quite immature. Jordan knew how to take constructive criticism and feedback and always wanted to grow and develop as a student.
