Josiah's Story

My passion is game design.
My passion for game design was discovered through my love for video games, and wanted to share that love with other people. I've always been told that gaming is only a hobby, but I'd like to prove people wrong. Although games do not last forever, I'd like to do what I can to help keep them alive so they don't fade into obscurity.

Attending iD Tech Camps New York will help me pursue my dream by teaching me the basics of creating video games. I hope this opportunity will allow me to bring the same joy to others that video games have brought to me.

A Note from Ms. Everhart, Josiah's Teacher

Josiah is truly one of the most astounding students I have ever worked with. His drive and ambition is unparalleled in his fellow classmates and even in most adults. His passion to learn more about and become involved in game design has driven him to learn more about technology and engineering. Josiah will benefit from participating in this program as he will finally be able to experience his passion and dreams. This could open a world of possibility for Josiah that he hasn't been able to explore this far in his academic career.
