California Airways was an experience like no other. Even though it was a crash course that only lasted a week, my memories there will last a lifetime. The atmosphere at California Airways was not only positive and welcoming, but extraordinary and something that will make my passion take off to a whole other level. I felt that I belonged at AeroCamp and going through the program made me want to dive deeper and deeper into the content from sitting in the classroom to taking FLIGHT and even sitting in the control tower and watching planes come and go with such grace. Other than being exposed to the great world of aviation, I met the coolest guy in the sky, my AeroCamp counselor, Keith. Keith is amazing in explaining how to do what many make think is hard in an clear way. In the most adrenaline pumping moments, Keith did a great job showing us the ropes to flying.

Another amazing pilot/instructor I had the privilege to meet was Mohammad. He was by far, hands down a totally positive, awesome person. He was a really inspiring and encouraging person that urges you to see what it means to fly and reassured that being a pilot was not out of my reach. Also one of few the campers that were there was Willard, a rumbustious, eager pilot that has an unlimited desire to fly and is a fun camper to have as your wing-man. Also, more at the core of California Airway is Susie who was kind and welcoming throughout the course, which made every day, minute, and second worth it.

I also, want to say thank you to Wishbone and all who helped fund this program and made this experience possible to see at first hand what it means to fly. I can't say how grateful I am to everyone that supported my campaign and how this program has allowed me to grow and experience a little bit of what the aviation life is.
