My passion is writing and acting.
I developed my passion while looking for my identity. During this journey, I found the key: paper and pen. I decided to start writing out my feelings. It didn't take much effort, but I did need strong emotions to inspire my writing. Then, in church, I decided to join a play, and people began to see how talented I was at acting. I've never had the experience of an acting school, but I did have the emotional drive to get into people's minds.
I will develop my passion by attending NYFA Acting Camp because I believe that acting is a way to get to people. I feel that portraying an idea that comes from a human being's soul is the best way to spread a message.
"Dafne is a great candidate for Wishbone and NYFA Acting Camp because she is a dedicated student who would truly soak in every possible opportunity that this experience offered. She is a talented writer and actor and this would be a chance for her to get a realistic idea of what a future in that field would hold. Dafne will benefit in so many ways: she'll meet new friends that will help to broaden her horizons, she'll develop even more as a leader, and she'll explore the parts of herself that she has already begun to delve into but is so willing to engage."
Upon arriving back to my city, I have been crazy busy, to the point where I wish I were back in LA! I am so happy to have been able to have such a wonderful experience out there! I honestly wish I could go back and have it never end, but all good things must come to an end.It was amazing making new friends from all over the world like Canada, Russia, and Lebanon. I've never been more happy to have social media exist! I learned so much, even lost my fear of talking into a camera! I feel as though after coming back from NYFA, I was able to face my fear of speaking up and letting people see who I am as me. I am proud to say that I have gained more friends. I cannot thank all the people who donated enough, there is no humanly possible way of saying thank you, but I can just simply say those two words. Thank You.

Growing up, I wasn't really into the star life. I decided that fame and fortune were not worth pursuing. However, now I see a purpose to fame, which is to change the mind of the people here on Earth. Who do most people want to follow? The famous stars on TV! How do we learn and get ideas? Watching TV! I am so excited to go to this program and learn to act, I'm so ready! Thank you for the support!💕
