My passion is cross country.
I discovered my passion for running in the seventh grade. That was when I first began running competitively. I love the feeling of being able to relieve stress while staying active.
Attending US Sports Nike Cross Country Camps will allow me to further develop my techniques and skills in running. Through the mentorship of elite coaches, as well as being in a new environment surrounded by students that enjoy running as much as I do, I'll be able to improve my running abilities. By the end of US Sports Nike Cross Country Camps, I hope to have gained the skills and confidence I need to become a better runner.
Devyn is an excellent candidate for US Sports Nike Cross Country Camps because she is always seeking ways to improve. She is a driven student, a talented writer and reader, and works hard to improve her speaking abilities. I believe she would benefit because she has a growth mindset. Devyn is always willing to work hard to learn something. Also, this girl can run. Especially at a school where the bells are ringing from 8:15 to 5:00, athletic pursuits can sometimes take a back seat. Devyn strives to be an excellent student-athlete, and deserves the dedicated time to focus on her craft as a runner.
