My passion is helping others.
Going into psychology will help me explore my passion by getting a start on what I want to do. I want to help people in many different ways. This is why psychology will help me explore my passion. I want to help people physically and mentally, so psychology will just give me a push with the mental part. Centenary Summer Scholars can give me that push so that I can experience what I will do in the future.
"Vanessa has developed a passion for Psychology even though she has never taken an official course. I think that this alone is an awesome reason why she is a good candidate for this program. She cares for her younger brother and has studied the way he interacts with people and the way people interact with him. These day to day interactions are both positive and negative, and it has really driven her to learn more about the way people think. I truly think she would find this course so interesting and discover if this is a passion she wants to continue to pursue."
Thank you so much for all who helped, I had a great time. In Centenary College I learned so many new things, I was actually surprised because they made it fun for us to remember everything we learned! This experience was amazing! Thank you all once again.

My cousin has a similar condition as DS, stemming from birth defects, and sister has an extremely rare disorder- no phosphorous intake, so awful bone growth.
It must be super hard to handle both that and HS. Most kids can barely do one or other. Hope you go to the camp/program you want, or at least use the money on something fun. You deserve it.
Don't give - up, you will get there!
